The newly refurbished ATC tower uses primary and secondary surveillance radars to control the safe flow of traffic at the airport and across Kuwaiti airspace as well as monitoring movements up to 250 nautical miles away.

Live Animals/Perishables/Human Remains etc. 24 hrs,7 days a week.General cargo may be cleared 24 hours if customs formalities are completed in advance.

• Original Legalised Commercial Invoice
• Original Legalised Certificate of Origin with Manufacturer Name and Address endorsed
• Original Non-Legalised Packing List
• Certificate of Conformity where applicable

Taxes

Customs duty of 5% on CIF or assessed value (subject changes with / without notice) except for foodstuff and certain other commodities.
NO VAT OR TAXES levied currently at Kuwait.

Weekends & Public Holidays

Friday / Saturday.Government offices mainly Customs / Immigrations remains closed.
